This week's fixtures & results League III (winter 2010/2011)

I really don't think there is a need for a vote Chukker V, i can't see why people would object to this.

PS. Rotten Apples, i think this is pretty fucking weak.

Don't try to wiggle out of it. You withdrew *after *a very lengthy series of decisions about the structure of the league. *After *the divisions were formed, a division made based on having you as a top team in one of the divisions. *After *the first fixture was released, and thus the league in full effect. Just because you got a bye on the first fixture does not mean that you somehow pulled out early enough to not fuck things up.

I certainly don't object Chukker, though I do think it shouldn't be a bye, I think it should be reduced to an 8 team division, and fixtures that haven't been announced shuffled so as produce 4 fixtures every fixture period. Alternatively we should allow in the team that requested to join the league as a replacement.

Can we even enter into the league now?

Um, yes. I object to the spot becoming a 'bye'. Apples have left the league.

So... its pretty silly for two teams to have a bye when they could both be playing games this fortnight.

Any objections to Nice Touch and Los Conos playing a fixture?

You lot, on here, bitching at us for making a decision is pretty fucking weak. Those who didn't want to play in the league because of how the format turned out, but still are for fear of reactions, are weak.

And, also, as I said before, I am not in good health, I can't commit to something that I believe is pretty futile. I'd rather play good polo from time to time, when I'm fit for it, than when I'm ill and get a crap game, in the rain.

If you can't accept that, tough.

Do what you want with 'our' spot in the league, just don't put our name on it.

Surely the best option is to let a team take that spot? I would definitely prefer to see equal numbers in each division.

That's a slightly unfair representation, Gabes said they couldn't, and that was the end of it, we may want to ask them now, but yes it's possible they don't really exist as a team. I don't care either way.

Can this new team form and play us before Nov 14th? Who are they?

Can we set a deadline for their commitment as we are already in the game playing period for this fixture? If not I'd like to be able to arrange to play Nice Touch.
