  • Can we change it for the playoffs or something? We're right in the midst of things, etc.

Maybe it doesn't matter, but you know. Also, it seems like I have been reffing the time-out rule wrong, maybe. Confused.

  • i have always stopped the clock after goals are scored and strated it again when the attacking teams crosses the line or i deem that they have taken long enough.

Everyone should try to do this.

This is NOT a rule. I'm not saying it shouldn't be, but it is not a rule. If you think a team is taking too long to bring the ball up, you should call "game on", thus allowing the other team to cross.

  • Correct

  • Apologies fort hese being a day late.

  • Schmoove - When are you boys free?

  • Dont think this weekend will work, unless its sat late afternoon/ evening.
Maybe that will work for Prav, what time does he finish?

  • I might wear one of those 'limited edition Chunk t-shirts' to confuse everyone.
Finish work at 5:30ish on Sat.

  • ed, have i played you yet? Can't remember...

  • PK - After 6pm could be an option altough it would be nice to play in the day time. How about next Sunday (30th)?

  • B - Not yet, we have you last

  • ok, yeh i thought i had already had a bye thats why i was getting confused.

  • Ed - lets try and do sat after 6

  • Ok, I'll confirm once the others have got back to me

  • Sure, i will check this end.

  • Tuesday 25th January @ newington

    Heythrop Lions vs Spring Break

I will be there from 6 if anyone fancys throw-ins. Game to start at 7-7:30 depending on arrival of thee lions.

If anyone has big fixed cogs lying about they could donate to a newbie team looking to bring there GI down to polo level would ace! Anyone, anyone?

  • I think I have a 21t cog that I no longer need. I'll check the parts bin and PM you.

  • I have a 22t fixed they can have. But its jammed on pretty tight on the hub. I got the lockring off, but the cog wouldnt budge. I'll bring it to Eduardes or Brixton Cycles this week if I get a chance and see if they have a bench vice they'll let me use.

  • have you tried to rota(un)fix it kev?

  • I've nothing to clamp it with.

  • So no I havent tried to unrotafix it, yet.

  • I rotafixed it on in the first place so its on pretty tight.

  • put inner and tyre on the wheel
    inflate
    ask for decent chainwhip
    put balls over chainwhip
push down (repeat as need it)
    done!

  • Sorry for the above, I am thinking of something else. Not rotafixing. But I'll try to get it off anyway.

  • you just need to pt it in the drops kev, make sure you wrap the chain the correct way or you'll tighten it on more.
