A guy who lived nearby saw me clearing the court at about 11am with a cone and came over to have a chat. 10 minutes later he came back with a snowplough he'd made me out of 2x4. So awesome. Shame it was falling faster than it could be cleared, but it was super fun to play in.
Then I rode back home again. To Barnes.
Sorry you didn't get to play, I was gonna offer you a cup of tea too, but I had to go and pick up a tree.

Awesome.

It would have been fun just to muck about in, but the roads got a bit sketchy when we finally left the house, and I've learned a good lesson on the importance of waterproof socks - freezing cold slush on the feet is not ideal when you're expecting to spend the day outside. I was really hoping for the snow to keep coming down and maybe do a bit of frolicking, but no dice, turned gross instead.

Yeah the slush is grim. No fun. I didn't recognise that was Newt either, epic pic.
Who's behind Cam? -

Peoples. In case you have not noticed, the vote for the playoff format is now up here. Voting ends on Tuesday the 21st at midnight.
Seven votes so far. Deadline on Tuesday at midnight. Please take a look and vote on it.
If you found it too confusing, note that we have added a more simplified version. It is this (also found on the vote page):
Option B gives the most games (5 additional games for each team).
Options A, C and F give give 3 additional games for every team. A and C give you 3 games against equally matched teams. F will have the best team to play the worst team.
Option D gives 1 additional game for every team. Option E gives 1 for every team, and a possible second game for some teams.
Option G is a knockout: Most teams will go out in 1 game, the winner will get to play more games.

Eggpie and I talked tonight and figured since we have not even had 30 percent of the players vote then perhaps we should extend the vote until Friday, midnight. Cool?
We have had 12 votes. You have a few more days if you want to check it out. If people who have voted but only ranked a few options, I am open to registering the rest of your options. If you only ranked one or two and these get eliminated, you still have the option of ranking the rest of your preferences.
