Why?

If LFGSS started sending me emails with advertisements in them I would lose my fucking shit. That's even more intrusive than banner ads which are already quite intrusive in the first place.

Perhaps an ignore function where you can choose to replace whatever that person has posted with a banner ad. That would do wonders for the revenue.

Does the Amazon affiliate scheme work even if something is not referred from here? I add the "?tag=buro9-21" tag to the end of any Amazon page by default - does this mean that any Amazon purchase is automatically affiliated?

What about Banner ads which then got removed from the page once people donated?* I agree emails with adverts would not go down well

*not sure if possible but if people don't donate then at least they help with revenues
