You'll pay 20% VAT on the order value including postage, plus about 5% duty on the value of the goods only, plus whatever extortion the carrier adds to do HMRC's dirty work, could be about £50 on top of your order in total.

Can someone remind me; I saw something on here about affiliate links where if one was buying something online, could create a link, which would gain some revenue for the site. VB, Is that still working, and if so, where do I post such link?

Post a link in a non-private part of the forum, clear your cookies (or use incognito/private mode) then use that link, which the forum will have rewritten to go via the affiliate server.

I like Izumi chains, but I think Tester approved is the Wipp 1Z1

Oh well, maybe next time (nice price too!).

1Z1 for outdoors, 1R8 for indoors. In practice, I don't think anybody would notice any difference between that Izumi and the 1R8, and it's reasonably priced. The 200% hipster tax on the Super-Toughness is obviously a joke.

Jigsaw's a solid company. I ordered my first iMac (c.2000) from them. Great company.

Can I recommend "Merlin Cycles" and give them some rep. I bought some shoes, they were too small so sent them back and within 24 hours had the right size

They look good from their website with all the clients / partners plus being an Apple Aurthorised Reseller... but one can never be too careful on the Internet these days...
Thanks...

^Based on my experiences, it doesn't take much to be an "Apple Authorised Reseller". Not knocking Jigsaw, jus' sayin'.

Do you get affiliate revenue from either www.size.co.uk http://www.endclothing.com/
or http://store.hypebeast.com/ ?Also, if I were to purchase a bike on Evans.com what % would LFGSS get in affiliate sales.
Reason I'm asking is that I could be tempted to buy a bike in May and it's that little bit more expensive than elsewhere but if it's your worthwhile I'll buy it at Evans. -

Price match in evans + Affiliate money to LFGSS

That's what Evans would pay us for a bike sale or parts sold.
I'll check on the other schemes, we're definitely not a member already.

Price match in evans + Affiliate money to LFGSS + Quidco cashback to you
Affiliate revenue is only paid out to the last company that referred a sale.
I believe QuidCo actually claim it, and so LFGSS gets nothing.
QuidCo are effectively using affiliates to give you 1% back, whilst they take 1-2%. But they cut out LFGSS revenue and the affiliate revenue other sites use.
Edit: Just checked QuidCo rates... they're able to beat what we earn due to their scale and negotiation power.

Stupid question, isn't there a website that you can pay/develop to enter any affiliate scheme that your audience has a remote interest in. The trainer thread would be your golden egg.

Price match in evans + Affiliate money to LFGSS
Bazinga.
Either a certain someone is going to sell his ti bike to me or I'm gonna get a BMC from Evans.
VAT refund, price match and affiliate revenue for the site = win! win and some more win!

Bookmarked. Will link everything from here when I shop :)
Many have bought from Track Supermarket.
You will incur fees if importing to the UK. Use a service like this one to get a rough idea of how much you should expect to pay:
