£40 off when you spend £200 at ProBikeKit http://www.probikekit.com/uk/ is pretty good- they recalculate the VAT as well which takes a bit more off.

That's not really an online find, is it? Read the thread title.

No. More of a keyword alert then rock-up. However I'm sure those efficient guys at Urban Cyclery would gladly offer forummagers some kind of extra incentive (hmmm...25% off) if they repeatedly had the words Urban andCyclery, that is Urban and Cyclery nestled in a thread about online bargains... I have heard they are very efficient.

The entire basis of recommendation is whether LFGSS gets some pennies back from the sale of goods. That's it, this is nothing to do with quality of the retailer itself or the prices offered, just whether we get affiliate money from sales.
Urban Cyclery will presumably be making a substantial donation to LFGSS now, say 1% of this week's sales.

A special offer on derailleurs might not trigger much trade on a fixed gear and single-speed oriented site but it's worth a try.

We actually earn approx' 1% of the value of sales referred to 3rd parties (though some specific items from some retailers might actually have up to 3% or 4% fees).
So if Urban Cyclery sold a nodder jacket for £40 as a result of referral, then generally I'd only expect to see 40p revenue.
If you're curious as to how much this earns, here are some examples:
Cycle Surgery: £1.41 last month
CycleStore: £2.13 last month
Evans: £23.28 last month
Wiggle: £67.86 last monthMost schemes, each month... don't earn a penny. Though I've not included in the above the figures from the 2 most profitable schemes.
This is why this thread exists... LFGSS relies on a combination of affiliates and donations, and affiliates are seasonal (more in the summer when people buy more). So we try and maximise the off-season affiliate revenue by encouraging those about to buy something to do it via here so that LFGSS gets 1% (without it increasing the price you pay).

Amazon & Chain Reaction?

Is there a scheme for eBay? We probably drive more traffic there than Amazon, especially in the £50+ range.

Try these guys too. I bought the 25mm GP4000s which are great, but they have the GP 24mm folders for £13:
