Looks like a good way to keep bikes protected from the basic elements on a balcony. Not good for winter, and dew/humidity would still rust... but from heavy rain and the like it looks good.

I've had a few of these, pretty much cheapest chain you can buy. PERFECT for a shopper/ 3speed bike. and their not actually brown, just uncoated.
Got a pile of cheap chains + few tubes of those Nuun tablets for not a lot a few weeks back, CRC can never do no wrong.

I have ridden those tyres in the past and I have been very happy with them. Really good grip, especially in the rain. They don't like skids though as the rubber is too tender.
