Hmm. Thanks. That doesn't bode well. I'm 5'9", I think, but definitely way more than 5'6". And I've got a 28" waist. Sounds like I might be Assos incompatible :(
Mine arrived today and now I don't even know if I should try them on now.

Probably worth trying on I think Pete - mine arrived today and they actually seem to fit quite well. In fact, the leg grippers are clearly looser than on my other mediums (a complaint that seems to crop up in the Wiggle reviews too) and the pad is much more firmly secured, so doesn't seem as likely to ride up even though they are pretty tight...
They are the short leg version though (which I had assumed, but CS failed to mention).

Do you know if it does gapless playback?

I had the original Clip in 8Gb until it got nicked. Nice little player. Can't remember if it was gapless sorry kirk. I think you can even run Rockbox on it.

Do you know if it does gapless playback?
A quick google says no. But it's £35, what do you really expect? It's all kinds of awesome for that price.

That is someone's leaving presents at work... he wanted a Boba Fett, but then said "or any figure that has a light sabre"... WTF? Boba Fett doesn't have a light sabre.

Fiddy used to use them for all his tubular needs.
Do they still quote their prices without VAT, thus ensuring a surprise at checkout?
-
• #393
Nope, I paid £102.68 for 2 X Continental Competition 22mm tubs, which I thought was a pretty good deal.

Does that include shipping? If so I'll use them next time.

Yes. Worth clicking through to the site if using google shopping, as it doesn't always reflect the latest pricing.

Stumbled across this one-off 14bikeco frame on their site for less than half price. Might interest someone, unfortunately not my size.

Used this site (and their chain of other sites) below, while I lived in the US. Haven't tried to ship items here yet, but I checked and they do allow it for most items unless stated. Some very good deals on high end cycle gear, bikes, etc. Basically they run one item at a time until it sells out or time runs out.
I'm kinda between sizes - I'm about 5'10" which is too tall for small, but I'm also a bit slim for medium (29" waist at a push) I think. Unfortunately I only checked my old Assos shorts after ordering and suddenly realised that they are, in fact, a medium.
According to Assos the small size is only really for up to 5'6" - and I already find my mediums to be a bit 'grabby' on the gooch when standing up! [although this is deliberate, according to Assos]
