Nice one. I went into Billy Bilsland Bicycles in Glasgow yesterday and saw Millar's tt outfit from the 1984 tour hung on the wall.

You're based in Glasvegas? I'm from there but never been into Bilsand's believe it or not... kind of got into cycling just as I was leaving.

My mum lives out by the Campsies now, so hoping to get a ride in over the crow road and tak me doon' before I head back to the big smoke.

My folks live up here on the Firth of Clyde and I'm up for the holiday. Not a scot myself though. Been riding around Gareloch, loch long and loch lomond for the last week. It is awesome.

Yep, lots of nice riding to be had up around Aberfoyle and you can do a nice loop round Loch Katrine if you get a chance. Pretty miserable weather for the most part though-I'm up on Skye at the moment though and even if I had a bike I probably couldn't have gone out. Glad you've been enjoying it though!

I got blown off the bike on Wednesday - probably best not to cycle in a force eight.

Depends if by falling off you are risking hitting a sheep or a bus! Definite rouleur points for going out in that at all though...

tak ma doon' road is a killer (for me anyway) but worth it for both the view from the little carpark at the top and the look on the face of the dogwalker (doggers?) when I arrived.
