  • I definitely pick the best bikes to have a cracking good time on...

  • have you just bought one of those too?!

  • Coming to a town near you soon...

  • And then leaving again a few days later on QC issues.

  • Ho, you crazy.

  • I been thinking about getting an alu canyon, then realised how cheap rose ones are. not sure what to do...

  • Ho, you crazy.

What's done is done, just now have to enjoy that one ride on the bike before it cracks...

  • ^^ Do it!!! we can be canyon buddies!

  • Im talking complete Amey

  • Amey are you on some kind of retainer from Canyon?

Would it be easier to choose the one base on your idea stack?

First glance, Rose have massive reach for the size.

  • My rose was cheaper than the equivalent Canyons when I bought it and its awesome. The fact that I could choose so many options in terms of the finishing kit, gearing options, crank length, bar width etc etc and the fact they had campag options made the decision easy. I'd buy another rose in a heart beat. Its performance for the money is beyond comparison in my experience.

  • Brother Yeti, which model did you go? the cheapest one I found have a pretty long reach.

  • ^ what edward said

  • Xeon CRS. 53cm with a 100mm stem fits my "brotherhood" proportions really nicely. It's a bit more stretched out than my other bikes but only fractionally, but it should be, it's my race bike. Still really comfortable though fit wise. It feels twitchy compared to other bikes when I first jump on it but in reality it's just got razor sharp handling and is unbelievably responsive to any input. Like most race bikes it's at it's best when really being kicked along.

As the sun was shining I thought I'd even take a quick pic...

  • And yes the bikes get more love than the garden.

  • that is a lovely bike; reynolds attacks?

  • Close, but nope: Reynolds MV32C rebuilt with CX-Rays.

  • Don't forget to bring in your pegs.

  • jesus those seat stays sharpen in to toothpicks!

  • Any news on the Endurace CF yet?

  • jesus those seat stays sharpen in to toothpicks!

Yeah they do taper a bit! But they form a wide flat bridge that connects to seat tube. It's certainly plenty stiff with the now normal oversized bb, enlarged seat tube at the bb junction and deep chain stays despite the tapered seat stays.
