The 'sponsoring' page has gone, is it something Canyon are stopping now?
-

I can't get my head around the reach measurement they have supplied, nearly 80mm longer than the other gravel bike i'm looking at
-
• #2104
Are you looking at the "Reach+" figure?
-
• #2105
Reach+ is including the stem length right? if so that makes sense. The chart wouldn't load properly in my browser so i couldn't see the normal reach section
it's like a full size bigger than i really want for a medium, but the head tube length is tiny for the size down
-
• #2106
Yup, plus short stems look shit.
-
• #2107
it's really annoying, as it has many of the features i really want at the price but i don't really like the Geo

Yeh, same here. clearance, guards, di2 compatibility, decent looking. I was ready to buy until I saw the geo.

Not enough clues I'm afraid, Sergeant.

No I thought the same and it might still be true but Canyon (chat) doesent know it ..
I judge mainly by the hole between bottle cage mounts as thats where the battery sits on canyon.

Yes.

I'm looking at getting an endurance CF sl disc with the ultegra group. Down here in Australia it seems to be the best value for spec bike out there. It certainly stands out against the sea of giant defy/spesh Roubaix that populate the weekend rides. Any reason not to go for the canyon?

Banging bike. You'll enjoy it.

Buying a Canyon for originality? Come on.
Weird mounts though, no seatstay or chainstay bridges.
The frames are long and stems short like on MTB's on some other gravel bikes too, for example Whyte. And Curves are made for short stems too.
