Tested all the threads, everything's in decent condition aside from the patches of missing paint. Will pick it up next week after I've moved

I recently bought a 1999 Bianchi 'racing comp' off ebay, it finally arrived earlier this week (which was a very exciting moment for all at The Green Grocers on Earlham road, as it was all I'd been talking about at work and everyone cheered when it arrived!). New tubes, tyres and bar tape are in the pipe line. Pretty much all campag, even down to the shiny crank bolt. This is the seller's pic from ebay because I'm lazy.

I too have a new project. I bought Sam's old Olmo a couple of days ago, loving it so far but it needs a bit of work doing to it.

It already has Shimano Tri-Colour calipers and 600 levers so I thought I'd carry on in the same vein. I set to lurking on the bay and these all arrived at once today, I have a rear mech on the way and will be grabbing some shifters soon.

The plan is to strip it down, clean everything, respray yellow and rebuild with a near complete Tri-Colour group. Should look something like this when it's finished.

Will keep updating with new parts as and when.

On the subject of respray...where would I get new decals?

If you go Cadbury Purple you should totally get some custom decals made. You only get one chance to re name your bike Fruit & Nut, and this could be it - grasp it with both hands!
