Does anyone else think that The Walking Dead season 1 was pretty lame? I waited with high hopes until it came out on disc and was unimpressed overall. The one episode where he goes into the city on horseback and ends up getting into the abandoned tank from underneath had some great zombie action but apart from that it was a bit dull.

I must agree..
The first episode (the one you mentioned) was good and clearly had a higher budget than the rest of the season. Having read the graphic novels, it didn't live up to the standards, perhaps with a higher overall budget and some time to bed in, the second season will be an improvement..

Yep it turned very soppy and very American (sorry if thats racist?) very quickly and could have been much much better. Has anyone been watching Fallen Skies? Basically Walking Dead but with aliens instead.

'American' isn't a race ;P

I suppose the main reasoning is that in the graphic novel, they change location quite a lots.
perhaps they 'extended' the story so they can stay on one location for a while before moving on?

Season 2 looks awesome!!

If there was a Zombie outbreak then Climate change wouldn't be a problem any more would it? Every cloud

Dunno. debatable. I guess less ppls around afterwards...
but all the destruction would eventually lead to new construction after zombies have been taken care of. (construction equates to lots of resources)
Also, probs gonna have to burn all them zombies. not good for air quality innit.but well up for a Zombie Breakout....

Yeah. Swings and roundabouts.
BTW I wrote that while drunk watching shite vampire films. It felt like an epiphany at the time.
