but you do see a lot of zombies without limbs so I don't see that being much of a problem.

Now i need to learn how to make fake wounds with liquid latex... Its one thing looking at hundreds of youtube videos, its another actually settling on a method and doing it...

i hope The Walking Dead doesn't stick too close to the comic. it looks (ain't seen the 1st one yet) like they will, but the comic gets pretty clunky and corny at times. if it's an 'adaptation' then i hope its got some good writing talent.

I watched it last night with French subtitles on a screener copy. They are out there.

It was visually well done. Good effects and scenery with a nice contrast of bright, sunny places and claustrophobic interiors with zombies milling about. It didn't bring anything new or very interesting to zombie movies but it's still fun if you like dead people eating brains.

Well since I last checked this thread I have read all the comics and watched the first 2 episodes. The TV series is very well done and follows the comics quite closely although the second episode gets straight in there with a glimpse at how folk go a bit mental and how Rick can deal with shitty situations. I

I can't wait for the tv series to come out on DVD.

The Walking Dead is a beautiful piece of work, it's undoubtly the best book about zombies in general (especially when it come to talking about the herd), seemed much more realistic than any other zombie film.

Can't believe how much Ricky have to deal with, can't wait for volume 13 to come out.

Walking dead is amazing, I wish Hulu would carry it so I didn't have to fuck with TV Duck or torrents

I'm more then willing to watch it add supported or pay a reasonable price per episode, I just don't have a TV nor do I care to own one.

I really enjoyed the first feature length episode. There seems to be quite a big budget for this. Really impressed with the story as well. I have to admit from first hearing about it I thought it looked like another 28 days but It's so much different. Really didn't expect that to happen to his horse though!
