Hi. I'm looking for a pompino steel fork 1" steerer for my original MkI pomp. Steerer length needs to be 185mm min. If anyone can help me I'd appreciate it.

Retro di Corsa is an awesome dude and an endless source of practical help, know-how and hard-to-find parts. So maybe he's earned the right to stretch the rules a little.

I concur, he's a big part of this forum and the community, so his 'advertising' is perfectly justified, especially when his intention is simply getting people on bicycles rather than trying to make money fleecing unipack.

Thirded. RDC contributes and helps people out. He knows a lot, and is always happy to share knowledge. Also a forum donor. What he is doing is fine IMO.

Thanks for the plaudits guys - I've been biting my tongue trying to avoid being drawn into an argument with an annoying pedant who despite being on the forum less than 4 months seems to make it his duty to start policing it. As the many forumongers who have visited my home know, I am not a commercial enterprise whatever you wish to deduce from my website, which is there like most personal websites primarily for the amusement and enjoyment of others . Note that the rules you have chosen to interpret your way advises not cross listing on sites " like ebay, bikeradar, ctc, retrobike, etc." I have never done that and I maintain that my own personal website is like none of those. Feel free to ask Hippy if you wish, he's one of the over 200 LFGSS people I've either bought, sold, wrenched for and and advised over the last 2 years, wink wink to you too bird brain.

Well, it's still for sale as it happens, but in the interests of staying within the forum rules I couldn't possibly bump it without reducing the price, so to you £299 ;-)
