I really don't want to derail this thread any further, but...
I maintain if you are citing male cyclists looking or rubber necking or gawping at women as an example of being a bad cyclist then this thread has jumped the shark. It is much closer to someone using it as a platform for their petty annoyances rather than someone cycling in a poor manner.
actually I just remembered I rode into a pothole this afternoon because I was looking at a girl, shit

Furry muff, that's incontrovertible evidence. All looking at anything but the road shall henceforth be placed alongside RLJing, riding on pavements, smoking crack and holding up Post Offices as poor cycling

Whoa, whoa, whoa there cowboy, let's not lump harmless fun like crack smoking in with RLJing pavement riding.

Why? You making a point to let us all know you'll be proudly leering at women come summer?

He's excited about all the shark jumping planned.

What happens if a female is checking me out as I cycle past? Do I avert my eyes and brace for impact? I'm not too lucky with ladies, that could be my one chance.
-
• #9136
She's not checking you out, her friend is on the other side of the road.
-
• #9137
Her friend has a great personality too....

This is true, and the reason why Rapha included a drug pocket in their softshell

Calling myself out. Turning into Regents Park outer circle from Camden this morning. Waiting at the T junction, lights at the pedestrian crossing to the right on red, with traffic and cyclists stopped. Look left to check it was clear and pull out. In the mean time a RLJr must have gone through the crossing, as I nearly hit him as I pull out. I should have checked to my right again, but also calling out the RLJr... I made the classic mistake of assuming other people stick to road rules
