  • Left the house without my wallet tools or a spare and blew the tyre out.

    Walk of shame home.

I had that when I was on the way to take my bike to get the hub serviced. Removed my saddle bag with tools, then got a puncture on the way. Had to pay £15 to get the innertube replaced ffs.

  • I'm selling my bag today so everything's out of it.

    Thats life

I got a puncture the other day right outside cyclesurgery kings cross. It was a short commute so no repair kit. They charged roughly £15 too. Instead I bought an innertube, used my keyring and their free pump. Cost me under £5. Then I felt bad and bought a few more innertubes as a thank you.

  • what turned into an amusing one this morning..

cycling along new bridge street northbound after blackfriars bridge, big lorry/truck indicating to turn left and me and a girl in front hanging back while it does

a guy goes past us cycling up the inside of it... I yelled its turning left and straight after the girl shouts turning left.. truck puts brakes on...

the guy on the bike then sticks his left arm out turns left then stops and turns to look at us wondering why we've told him to turn left...

  • You may have saved a life there

    worra goober

Popped into town on my lunch today,
    50+ guy, tanned legs.
    Full Movistar team kit.

    Knees out. Clipped in.
    One failed seated track stand.
    Stands to push off anyway.
    RLJ every other time.

  • wow.

  • It'll be an animated .gif soon.

  • When the barriers come down, what inside your head makes you think, now is a good time to cross?

  • The same gene that has people on foot wait at a pedestrian crossing, they look at the traffic lights turn green and then start to walk out, just as the traffic starts to move.

It's the decision to not be an amber gambler, but instead to be certain that you are moving into danger instead.

  • It's very odd that having nearly killed herself trying to cross the level crossing, she then cycles off in the opposite direction. Weird.

    Think she's in shock

  • Yeah, looks like she's going for a sit down and a reassessment of her life choices.

  • Or wait for the next one

  • witty

  • We get it, you like kitchens! Ffs!!

  • and often reasonable.

  • Him: Kitchens sup?
    Kitchen: not much. sup wit'chu?

  • British Transport Police are trying to trace the woman, who also ignored the flashing lights and warning signals, as it is imperitive she is sterilised ASAP for the good of the human gene pool.

    FTFT.

To be fair, she has made a pretty good effort at removing herself from the gene pool.

  • witty

The more I look at the word "kitchens" the more it looks wrong

  • I thought the suicide / overtaking side signs were amusing, but you're right it's the spectacular overuse of the word kitchen that does it.

  • kitchen

  • Like "kitten" plus "Hitchens". Or something

  • kitchen installers of bespoke kitchens kitchens supplied and fitted kitchens

Would be funny if it was run by David Kitchen

  • Like "kitten" plus "Hitchens". Or something
