^About £130.
Okay so not really worth the £150 he was asking for it!

Its MUCH nicer than those ebay ones as its the team orange and blue colours and has Dura Ace groupset with Campag Record seatpost, headset and hubs. Will post up pics soon ASAP. I've actually just bought it today. Don't think I should say what price I paid though... If I one day resell it on here, some sneaky bugger will find this post haha.

A set of Campag nuovo or super record would be excellent for it. if you change your mind and ever think of selling it please let me know as i have been looking for this bike for ages!! :)
-
• #758
Yeah the fully built bike would come with campag record parts. The guy I bought it off, bought it off a guy in the early 80's who bought just the frame from holdsworth rather than the complete bike, and then built it up with his parts, hence the dura ace rather than the campag. Send me an offer via PM and I'll let you know :-)

I have a Campagnolo Daytona group set (centaur before it was so called). Its in a well used but very much working condition though I have put new hoods (hudz version) on the shifters. Set includes ergo shifters, front and rear mech, triple chain-set and front & rear brakes.
Cheers,
JT

recently got this off a family friend. it'd been steadily decaying in his garden for the last 5 years or so.
He said he'd got it off ebay for around £25.
anyone know what its worth now?

50mm carbon wheels, sapim cx-ray hubs, hubsmith hubs, Continental Competition Tubular tyres glued on:
Wheelset is 1,110g, and costs $670 plus $70 shipping from Farsports, then add duty and VAT (if of course HMRC applies these).
So, with the tubs (around £55 each), what would be a realistic asking price for these wheels?
-
• #764
$670 inc taxes? How many miles?
around the £310 - 350 mark is what I think similar wheels have gone for on ebay in the last few months...
-
• #765
$670 before tax, so add shipping at $70, then duty and VAT to get a true "landed" cost.
Have the ones on eBay had the Hubsmith hubs? That was a special request for these wheels.
-
• #766
Around 500 miles on these wheels I would estimate
-
• #767
No. I saw some 'unbranded planet-x' types go for that price last month...I think they also went without tyres etc...
-
• #768
Selling with the tyres likely to gain any value, or should I just strip them off and keep them?
Conti Competitions are annoyingly expensive.
-
• #769
If you plan on running tubs in the future, I'd keep hold of them. Considering it's 110 worth of tyre, you won't see that in the sale price.
I don't think. -
• #770
So, how much should I ask for the wheels?

What is the hive mind opinion of £399?
-
• #772
Make it £400.

hi all,
I have a question on Assos tubular rims. How much are they worth?
like those ones: http://velobase.com/ViewComponent.aspx?ID=AF9EFB13-AF91-4940-ACA9-E7A6311EF038&Enum=107&AbsPos=3
Really Good condition (but not NOS)
Thanks
