it has been used but the important bits are in good condition (original spindle snapped so was replaced under warranty along with new bearings)

Done some sifting and no idea for price. Really depends on thread/length-think i'm after 111 and italian but need to double check.

Searched on here and other sites to try and find out what a late 70's Holdsworth professional bike is worth, but couldn't find any prices as they've been removed as bike was sold or was different to the one I'm interested in.

Basically been offered a Holdsworth professional by a friend of a friend. Apparently in very good condition. Its a complete bike with Dura-ace chainset and gears, mavic wheels with campag hubs, and campag seat post. Its the orange and blue one but not the fancy early one.

Any rough idea? It is definitely Columbus, and a high end model.....buying from the original owner who used to race years ago and knew some good 'names' around the London scene.... Barry chick, shorter, etc......the guy is a great bloke, and I don't want to rip him off......

prices on ebay are pretty random sometimes

How much are these track forks worth. I think they are 531 but not a clue as to the frame builder been told the crown might be a 'Pacenti Paris Brest crown' but cannot confirm that. There are no dings or dents and no rust but there are two stone chips marks. the forks are drilled for a brake and as you can see some of the paint has worn away in that area. It takes shallow drop brakes. For 700c wheels with 100mm spacing. The fork legs are round....think that covers everything of significance.

The steerer is c180mm and the steerer is threaded but don't know how much threading is on the steerer. The steerer is 1''

So any idea as to its worth?

It's not actually an Aende but a classic lightweight from J.A. Holland of West Bromwich. Couldn't find much on the frame builder.
Supposedly 531 tubing and the lugs Nervex professional.
Any idea what its worth and whether or not i should buy?
