  • The appropriate forks would be Argos Aero forks... Think someone had some for sale here not long back, worth a search around?

    They look like this...

Why not message the seller and see if he got them in the shed? Unless the ones fitted are Argos supplied Columbus (i think..) ones...

  • just got myself this lo pro with 650c forks

Looks like it was built for 700c to me

  • rimz, y u no mtch?

  • just one of life's many sad imperfections...

  • Haha the rims look close enough ;) lovely bike that steve goff

  • I think risers make these Lo-Pros more Bro-Pro. Jus' sayin'.

    I agree.

  • What do you guys think, risers or bullhorn?

Aren't the riding positions completely different? I can understand ''red or yellow, what do you think'' but assuming you're riding it and not hanging it on the wall, surely the right answer is whatever feels more comfortable to ride?

  • the right answer is whatever gets you to the finish line in the least elapsed time

yeah dude thems are the style forks I'm after but 650c

  • rimz, y u no mtch?

thats just the example pic of what the bike could look like when built, done by the previous owner but not what I'd choose.

  • Looks like it was built for 700c to me

Ahh you could be right here.....at least the head tube angle still looks good so hopefully it'll be ok.

  • You could check with Argos, but all the post-1990 ones people I know ride were built for tribars, so didn't require ultra low front ends even for short-arses like Dangermouse, and therefore were 700/700. I know they did build some funny bikes, but they also seem to have jumped on the "Micro" design pretty quickly, they may even have been one of the originators.

  • What forks does it have at the moment?

  • The Rourke with Corima...

  • I might do that and get in touch with argos to see.

the current forks are the ones on it in the picture, they're sweet but I'm not keen on the carbon look.

  • That Rourke looks good.

I don't have issues with LOW//s and Mashes with risers, but when you force classic steel pursuit frames wear them it, for some reason, makes me feel bad for the frames.

  • Rourke is Porn.

  • If Cinelli wanted a surefire hit in the retro-reissue business, they should start selling LA84s again. Best looking and most comfortable bullhorn ever

    Rourke is anti-Porn.

Needs proper seatpost, saddle, pedals, brake lever, gearing and back wheel, but at least the bars are right.

  • Corima on back to front.

  • Oh cool. I thought that was the bladed side.

  • that saddle angle.

  • It's pretty intense...
