as i understand, this is way too small for you

  • this is an old pic, the frame was sold afterward
and btw, this thread is for your own lo-pros, not some generic interwebz bullshit

  • as i understand, this is way too small for you

... this way it won't take up so much space in my room :]

  • lol do a HHSB build as spotter was suggesting
let's see if you can finish this before he finishes his orlowski... (i bet you can)

  • I've nearly finished the Ken James.
Needs cables, headset & spacers and will also change the bars for a standard quill stem.

  • Vince, what's up with those epic short stems? (I now have flashbacks of the Look..) No handling problems?

  • not gonna quote my entries here, you can look it up yourself

Good spot - this is the bar/stem combo from the Look which I have fitted to the KJ with a quill stem adapter - just for show.

I'll change them for a standard quill stem + risers or bullhorns shortly!

  • risers ftw

  • ^This is not the HHSB thread.. In the Lo Pro thread the word is "bullhorns".. And it only is a lo-pro when those bars then mimmick the lowest handlebar position of a drop handlebar.. How many times must it be told?!

  • sighh....... they never learn.....
its about that time MDCC turned up and put people back in their places

  • I've nearly finished the Ken James.

    Needs correct size front wheel.

This is going to be used as a city hack so more likely to get risers unless I find cheap 26mm bullhorns.

    Needs correct size front wheel.

The frame takes 700c wheels, which are currently fitted on the bike.
As you can see from the picture, the headset is not fitted properly and I'll be replacing it shortly and adding the necessary 1" spacers to match the steerer length

  • The slack seat tube + head tube angels and the very high BB tell me that it should have shorter forks with a wheel to match

  • The slack seat tube + head tube angels and the very high BB tell me that it should have shorter forks with a wheel to match

Now you are mentioning it, it does look like it does take 650c forks and not 700c

  • Hipro is the new lopro innit..
Lovely frame tho, chrome 650 fork would look hot.

  • Would certainly be an odd choice for a tt frame to have such a seat tube angle..

  • Pretty sure the straight part of the top tube should be horizontal too

  • I have a lo pro again and it feels good.
    Love that Mash.

  • ^^ pursuit bars = cheating

  • ^^ pursuit bars = cheating

Whatever gets you in the right position is OK. Some bikes need deep drop bullhorns, some of the fork-crown mounted bars have quite a bit of rise. The end is the defining characteristic, not the means.

  • Although having said that, matching the position of a tall head-tube sportive bike with 0.8 scobles of spacers under the stem is hardly in the back-breaking spirit of lo-pro

  • All the other kids are doing it and I didn't want to feel left out:

    Awww yeah

I ride with risers 99% of the time though (that's a lie I ride with risers 100% of the time)

  • You got Joe's Cannondale, it's so nice. Pink everywhere.
