Sorry Nhatt. I got really distracted, and forgot to "close" the competition. Please substitute another image for the one you posted, and I'll close it tonight 27-01-2011.

Due to this lack of attention on my part, and that its often difficult to get the 3+1 judges in attendance at the same time, I say we expand the date to the day-before-last of the month.

This will give others more time to add, and also I've realised that I don't need all the judges available at the same time to give a fair result from them. I had over-imagined this difficulty. Will post up on the front page later. Fair?

Apologies to all. I had not been able to close the competition on time, so will now for all further categories, leave it open to the end of the month. I'd been called away for some other matters and couldn't get online to do forum stuff.

Someone posted a tag saying *Its a fix*. If I hadn't organised this, I might have believed it. Not one of my own choices has won, for any monthly category. In fact, of all the images posted so far, its Kyuss' image of his dad that I am absolutely in love with. And yet, nothing. I also thought that coppiThat was a shoe-in for this month. Again, I have been surprised. Well, its certainly interesting. Keep them coming everyone. And seriously, well done to all.

EDIT:
So my meaning isn't confused......what I was trying to say was that the judges (who are dedicated photographers) all value different things, and sometimes their choices are very different to mine. I think there was only one image in the competition so far that won a clearly unaminous vote.

Keep 'em coming though.
