Aha I wish. Focale turned up today although I rearranged for tomorrow.

I'm pleasantly surprised! Stock parts weren't too bad and the integrated bar/stem combo is awesome, I'll have to find a use for them somehow. The frame looks well made and has got relatively tight clearance (front is borderline Rizla and I shall be taking a couple of links out of the chain and slamming the rear tonight/tomorrow) just need a brake lever and it's sorted for now.

I was a bit disappointed with Wistanleys however, there's quite a few nicks and scratches on it and it didn't come with the restrain-esque straps it should have. I'll definitely be sending them pics and looking for some sort of compensation

I was more implying actual cycling, but yeah, I guess beers count too.

Have had to work three Sundays in a row which has ruled out rides lately unfortunately...need to rectify that soon or I'll get fat!

@thross Why not combine the two?

If everyone's got enough lights between them we could ride down to the pub near the Reedham ferry one evening. Or the Woodfordes brewery like we did once before.

Weather permitting and all that.

I can lead a route both ways.

I'd be well up for that @prevailrob I'm just not sure everyone else would be, and we don't get many people down anyway!

@thross might be worth making it a Friday night or something (or even a Saturday), which I would imagine it would make it more appealing to most people.

The only things I foresee being an issue for others is: lights and cold. I agree it is quite cold still this time of year but once you get moving its not that bad, as long as you have some decent layers on and gloves/hat. Lights, well, as a collective its surprising how much we can light up the lanes. I for one have a Chinese 1000 lumen behemoth so I can make light for several of us :-)

Pace will most likely be on the slow-social side, so no worries for anyone there I wouldn't have thought. Route would be at most 17 miles each way (Reedham) and about 10 each way to Woodfordes.

Rode to work with the new bars, could maybe do with being a tad wider but they're already more comfortable than the Airwings

I'd be keen for the pub/brewery ride.

Today my levers arrived so the new bars were taped up, think one of the levers may be a few mil higher than the other but they feel fine, nice to be able to ride on the hoods without backache for once!

Ah they look great. How do you find braking? It fucked me up moving to proper lever again after years of having a cross-top!
