  • Good day today. A jersey signed by Eddy Merckx, Mario Cipollini, and Sean Kelly?

It has to be for a special person. :)

Remember, today was only the trade day. It'll be a lot busier tomorrow, on Saturday, and on Sunday.

The photowall looked great, but then, everybody already knew that.

It's great to have the forum at the show.

  • here's some pics

(will be adding more to the set later)

  • This looks scary:

  • Oliver I am envious, well done I really want to see Eddy tomorrow/today.

Is anyone cycling to the show tomorrow in the morning from hackney?

It would be nice to ride with someone, pm me if you are .

Ha, it's not mine. I was only alluding to someone else's. :)

  • Saw it too, great work!

  • Ace

  • is pre-booking reccommended? fer sunday? or chance it on the day.

resent paying a booking fee on principal.

  • More on the door, £15 vs £11.50 with discount code and fee. Ticket gets you in any one day.

  • hrmmm... principals... save two quid... ooooh it's a toughie...

    /kerching!
//i have standards, and if you don't like em, i have others.
    ///discount code you say...?

  • i owe you a beer. and maybe a footrub. NO TONGUES THO!

  • Most useless thing stolen from the stand so far? Pitlock skewer. The fool left the keys behind so it's useless.

Maybe he's Tom Thumbs personal trainer?

  • Have you shifted many polo leaflets? Heh.

Also, I'm guessing my polo bike on Saturday is going to be secured to the bike stand somehow (I'm knowledge-less)?

Max is heading in today with my pass in tow (someone can use it for entry today), he's gonna leave it with someone who'll be there early on Saturday and pass their number on if that's cool?

  • If you book online can you pick up tickets at Earls Court - too late to post now.

  • just booked one and they emailed a handy print outy ticket, which was nice

  • Maybe with cable ties to stop the wheels moving around, nothing more than that. The stand is manned all the time by at least one, but I think yesterday there were always at least two, trusted LFGSS people. Anyone attempting to remove a bike would be noticed.

This aside - Earl's Court is a massive space full of really expensive bikes at the moment. Many of which are not really secured. As DK said yesterday, the chances of someone taking a polo bike over a full carbon bike worth £4k+ must be slim! Security take an active interest in anyone leaving the exhibitors entrance (which is the way you have to go) with a bike and thoroughly check passes - you need your pass to exit as well as enter.

  • Sweet.

Where abouts is the exhibitor entrance? also what time should i roll in for on sunday?

  • There have been other things stolen? =(

Is it crazy busy compared to yesterday?

I am sat on my roof terrace in the warm sunshine drinking coffee and thinking of you all =)

  • You're asking the wrong person for directions, I spent half an hour with skydancer yesterday trying to find the LCC stand and I had the wrong address for it in the first place! But their grid system is really confusing, I got lost a lot.

Should be on the floorplan though.

Its kind of sort of half way ish between the Earls Court main entrance and West Brompton main entrance. A rather unassuming door...

  • On times, they are the same every day -10am start. So if you're helping on the stand or your bike is being exhibited try to get there no later than 9.30.

  • Cheers guys! T4, you about on sunday? be awesome to see you!!!!!
