Looks good to me, I love the idea of the contrast of our machines against all the shiny shiny new stuff.
Display stand wise something fairly robust would seem like a good idea, imagine someone will need to do a risk assessment of the bike stand falling over and taking out a punter ;)

Max C's Cannondale for the courier bike? I hear he doesn't use it much anyway =)

Yeah, I'm planning on the above stand with sandbags just to make doubly sure it won't fall, and for the really stupid a little sign warning people not to lean against the display.

If Max and I are going either of our bikes could be used for polo. Both single speed. Mine is a stripped and now rusting Pompino with a sweet rainbow seat post (which fades into a matching purple Brooks Colt). That makes it awesome.
Max's is a frame he built himself while in Canada (well, visiting Porltand), which also makes it awesome.
In fact, are on-one going to be there? I'd love them to see what people are doing to Pompinos. They have a weird relationship with polo (encouraging, followed by dismissive and not very friendly, followed by trying to buy into the scene by releasing an OTP polo bike, which sucked). Nonetheless, the Pomp is the number one polo bike in the London scene (and it's moving beyond). I'd like to talk to them one-on-one (see what I did there?) at some point.

the day I'm there I can bring my DAMP Cycles polo bike, latest and greatest polo specific frame (kind of).

What about this for the display stand?
It's one of the cleanest I've seen and is freestanding which is fairly important as there's no roof to fix things to.

How many are you going to get? I may be interested in buying one off of you when done (if you're interested in getting rid of them, and, once seeing them, they'll do what I want in my tiny flat).

I was about to offer my pompino for the same reason. OnOne donthave a stand, but they could well come anyway. I tried to talk to them at BikeRadar, but the people on the stand were fairly clueless.
If any of the prototype custom polo frames that are being talked about are finished in time, Id vote for one of those. If not, the Pompino is the most popular/ representative bike frame for London Polo. If you really want to represent, it needs a Rik double brake lever, discs, freewheel (because everyone thinks we're all fixed), and some sweet polo stickers. And some heavily skidded marathon 38cs.

How much of that rainbow seat post is hidden inside your non-rainbow seat tube?

vb, last i heard I thought Jonny's Copacetic had bit the dust? Remember him posting up about it? Well I think I did, might be best to ping him a pm.
I think murtles as the requisite one man, one bike, commuter would be a good choice. Also shows the forum's community spirit as we bought it for him and all.
Another point would it be a thought to have a mini bike pile in the stand of the members who are down to man the stall, might give you more bike bang for your buck. I'm assuming everyone will be riding down. -

Would there be any harm in having a different bike each day?
More people would get to show their bikes, anyone there for more than a day gets a different bike to look at, nobody has to be bikeless for four days.
As long as the bikes meet the criteria this might be easier to organise?
Onto the bikes...
Whose bikes should we show?
