This for round town, and short trips out, and eventually touring (will probably 'upgrade' to bar-end shifters and a deore touring groupset). Right now it's running a single chainring up front and 8spd on the back:

I saw the Paduano on sunday and nearly popped a boner.

My tri bike and my new ebay purchase to use on longer rides, races, sportives etc.

I know this is tantamount to heresy on here, but modern bikes are far superior in terms of ride quality, stiffness, weight and so on. I love the De Rosa, but it doesn't compare to the Paduano.

ffs why pay for modern bikes and the progression in technology when you could have a jumpy old groupset, huge frame and short stem/seatpost etc

the colour look great but it doesn't look properly painted up close, especially the fading part.

especially the rear end which look pretty cheap (colour that is).
