Oh, totally agree. If it were one instance of somebody posting something off-colour then I'd be more inclined to wade in and call them out for being a knob. But this is just a recent instance of several attempts to troll a wide range of people, and it just so happens to have happened in a particularly offensive place.

I'm sure that @ABCNews is now contrite, and that his apology for being a shithead is imminent, however. Trololol.

But yes, the challenging of behaviour - in itself - is pretty exhausting, and might be one reason that people up until now haven't got directly involved. Having to have the same arguments with witless knuckleheads over and over and over again is depressing and tedious and something I wish wasn't a thing. If only wishes really were horses, I could tie a bunch of them together and train them to TRAMPLE THE PATRIARCHY, etc.

Would this be the right time and place to point out that one of the key features which got lost in translation to microcosm was the 'Report post' button? If that reappeared, foxnews would have been the subject of a few dozen reports which in the olden days would probably have got him a warning leading to a ban by now, without anybody having to engage with him.

I will not talk to the court, but I would like to make an appeal to the politicians.
Start working on a new law under jurisdiction of the penal code which could make possible, at the end of the trial, to sentence detention or deletion to either one of the parts.
If the defendant is not recognised as guilty the flock is clearly committing slander.
It will increase the consciousness of the latter and it will give the certainty of an incrimination for all the spectators and participants.
