Closing threads. How we do?

You can close sales threads, but I couldn't see a way of closing normal threads.

I was clicking "close". Not "go". It's been a day.

This is a useful thread, but better in Bikes & Bits than For Sale?

The moderator membership group had been deleted, which could only have been done by yourself or hippy.

Could be, but it hasn't happened to any other one... so it could just be negligence on my part... had I originally set you up as a moderator of it? Maybe I hadn't.

I've done pretty much zero moderation since the move. So, unless I was very, very drunk and have no recollection of doing it I'm blaming one of you or a bug :P

I had assumed that you can moderate a forum when you start one so didn't even check till I noticed my typo, so yes, you probably didn't set me up as a mod...

You'd be amazed how easily it can happen.

Merged content will not get in it's way, but complement another.

Please don't merge the 'freshwater aquarium fish' thread with the 'tropical fish' thread though.
