I just had a great idea. Possibly one for Microcosm.
Make it possible to a member to be placed into 'tweet mode' (or something similarly named), which would make it impossible for them to type more than 140 characters into a post.
And maybe it could also make them wait 2 minutes before posting again in the same thread.

This might be a solution to the problem of those users who continue arguing in long rambling non-sequiturs long after people have got sick of it.

Do this and it would be bye bye popcorn thread.

I've no idea who'd this be used for though.

Have just emailed the 28k subscribers to the LFGSS newsletter...

I noticed this post in another thread. I have tried to sign up to the newsletter several times in the past but have never received an email (including the one 3 days ago). I therefore assumed it was an out of date feature and no longer used.

Is the newsletter still an active feature and if so how do I receive them?
