Thankfully I don't do deletions that instantly.
You have to PM me, I give you a cooling off period and make sure you're sure. Then I do it a while later if it's confirmed.

This may be something to do with my computer, if so please ignore. It doesn't detract from my LFGSS experience, just thought it might be of interest to someone.
First photo has bazschmaz in a different font, this is what happens when the page loads. It has started happening sporadically when I load up a new page. However, if I hover my cursor over the name, it reverts to normal. This only happens on usernames, nowhere else. Let me know if there is anything else I can do, or point and laugh if I am being a goon. -

i often get the same thing happening as this ^

It's nothing to do with the forum I'm afraid.
The only style stuff that is in effect is one line that says: font = sans-serif.

Empty cache, restart computer, etc.

Check if you have the Ghost in the Machine plugin for Chrome browser installed.

I have emptied my computer and restarted the cache. It still happens and now I can't find my Phil Collins discography, so thanks for nothing Regal.

There you have it, your computer obviously has better taste in music than you do. This whole funny font on the interwebz was clearly an elaborate ruse so that your computer could rid Phil Collins from its HDD. I think you should thank regal as this may save you from being brutally killed when the machines inevitably rise up and take over.

A couple of profiles have just been banned and one has been PM'd.
The ban list:
loxrox and oldieThe PM list:
HunterlarAll of the above relate to suspicions of selling goods on the site that may not be legitimate or of an attempt to commit fraud.
In the case of oldie and loxrox, the items in question were unrealistically priced (too high or too low shows no knowledge of the items), photographed across too wide a variety of locations with too many different cameras to remain plausibly by one person (photos are likely not of the product), and the profiles were fairly anonymous and originating from overseas locations.
In the case of Hunterlar, a PM has been sent asking for proof that the wide selection of bargain price Rapha stock that he's been selling has been legitimately acquired.
I'm unwilling to turn a blind eye to the site potentially being used to sell stolen goods, and whilst it may well be the case that it is perfectly legitimate several people have flagged it as looking very dodgy and I'd rather take the risk of causing offence than to just ignore it. I haven't banned Hunterlar as I've no proof that the items are dodgy in any way, and at this time it's just a question as to the source of it all.

good thing you approached Hunterlar...he must have been selling 50 - 100 items over the 5-6 threads he had
-
• #12572
Wow, that is some haul of rapha.
Sold a hell of a lot so far with no donation either.
On the note of oldie, would it be worth posting on each of his sale threads for users to raise paypal disputes ASAP due to the question mark over his legitamacy?

Only two buyers from the public threads, one who received the item and the other who expressed an interest. I've PM'd the latter.
I do not know whether there were other buyers as I do not read PMs (even when asked, pretty please).

I was going to say that I know who Hunterlar is but then I would have been wrong as the person I had in mind could not have been a member since 2011 as he has not been involved in cycling for that long.
Rapha merch does get "looted" from events on a fairly widespread basis I'm told. Lots of low paid event helpers help themselves with varying levels of legitimacy. Most end up with a pair of arm warmers and a cap for their own use but I've heard others take the piss and make a bit of money on the side. I'm not calling Hunterlar's integrity into question, just to be clear. Just stating what I've heard from an event organiser.

Good work bossman...
It’s difficult territory and like Stonehedge needless to say I'm not calling anyone's integrity into question, as I wouldn't want to make false accusations or even suggest that that a given trader isn’t legit, not without proof anyway. That said it is important that we continue to question each other, and essentially establish a culture and a consensus that forum members are actually expected to do so.
Of course it’s uncomfortable. But if we want to address bike theft and actually do something about it, we need to be looking at the entire supply chain. Really it is in everybody’s best interest, not least the hundreds if not thousands of good honest folks trading through the forum every day.
Ah yes, I'd say Object or rickster or someone else at the Prince Regent has got hold of Joe's phone.
