Then it's a no. It's a little bit like girls. You might grow to "like" them, but if they don't give you a hard on, on first sight, it'll never be true love.

charming. which finishing school did you go to?

Not the sort of thing they'll teach you in school... It's a fact of life though.

Speaking from personal experience, I'll second that.

Really liking the new Racelight Tk3. I've always secretly lusted after the old Racelights.

Bilenky are an awesome builder, especially the maroon one.
custom rack, saddlebag rack, 6 water bottles, adjustable stoker handlebar length, pump pegs on the 2nd downtube, half step with a massive big ring, weight 42lbs too.
The only thing I dislike is the non-matching saddle, c'mon, put another Brooks Team Pro on the rear!

Ride one before you buy one.
"it's like descending in an armchair" is how my mate described his. Quite a good choice for winter bike though.

These Ridley Tempo framesets look like bargain winter frames.

There are a bunch of colours and sizes for £220 here.

I'm having a hard time imagining what an arm chair would feel like. Comfortable, but in a bad way? Or too relaxed?
Either way I'm probably never going to buy one as I just don't have the need or gap in my stable. It's more of an aspiration - endless brutal rides around Regents Park on cold drizzly winter evenings clad head-to-toe in Rapha.
... oh and ed;
... weight 42lbs too.
19kg.
Using pounds is really not on. Not on at all.

I imaging it be very comfortable descending with minimal amount of road vibration which to me, is a key feature of a decent frame (beside the obvious tyres weight, size and pressure).
The more comfortable/confident the bike feel, the better.

19kg.
Which is roughly 9.5kg for each riders, quite a decent weight considering the rack, Brooks saddle, etc.

It was a sunny April morning and a long, fast descent. He didn't want to be in an armchair down that hill.
His summer bike is more fun.

^ Yeah, what's going on there?
Still love that crown though.
Try sanding the 'hemisherical' end flatter to increase the beam angle - might take a bit of tinkering - flat gives about 70 degrees - enough for a flood?
