  • Dat der dawg is shawped

  • No, that's a dog. Labrador to be specific.

Labradors are good eating... but that ain't a Labrador. Like the functionality of the bike setup though.

  • rather stylish...

  • You could carry a lot of cake & beer on that bike...

  • That's a fantastic idea to adapt a current MTB frame to a cargo bike.

  • Brilliant

  • That's smart. I wish I'd thought of that.

  • < fnckwit!

  • ^ ?
Where are these shifters you swear of?

  • I'm sure the designer/maker could design/make a suitable clamp.

  • My new 2 speed kick-back coaster braked getter bike.

Sorry for a newbie question, but what bars are those called? Maybe someone can tell me the model of those handlebars? Thanks

  • Big headlights, 'lock on' brakes so doesn't roll and fall over when trailer hitched and saddle chained on for urban parking.

They're Velo Orange Left bank bars. Nitto also make some similar ones called Promenades.

  • ^^ Are those Smart Lights?

  • Yep, pretty damn clever I think.

  • Still using the heavy lead acid battery? I have two sets of them but four knackered batteries. Need to get a new style battery with the right output and a charger.

  • The actual battery inside will be a standard SLA battery, you can get them from Maplinif you're desperate.

  • Nah, I don't see any point spending any money on them unless I'm making them better. The lights are great, it's just the battery weight and life

  • Might be able to fit 6 Li-Ion cells AND an LED driver in the SLA case, but would need extra thought about charging. Good upcycling opportunity though.

  • Hadn't thought about using an LED. Would an LED work with the lenses in there? One of them is the spot and the other is the flood. I can see them both turning into spots with LEDs fitted.

  • Would fit chunks of plastic between the original lenses and the new LEDs to shape the beams appropriately.
