Yeah, what's the frame? And the rack?
-
• #3328
The frame is one of our (Tokyo Fixed) Dream machines.
The Rack is a Gamoh porteur. -

Wasn't expecting that version with caliper brakes to fit that well with mudguard and CX tyres.
-
• #3330
Front brake drop is 57mm, so longest side of mid drop.
Rear depends on the wheel position but is between 55 and long... -

Rack eyelet mounted rear lights are nice!

unf. want.

That Dream Machine is seriously cool. Been a while since I've seen a build I like with a Brooks too.

Racist.

Also gonna be a fast bike with those gears
-
• #3338
I think there clinchers that look like tubs, i think i had them my self.
-
• #3339
Loved that bike, only thing that's not quite correct is the lack of hood levers.
-
• #3340

The traffic is exactly what I'm going to do with my Tokyo fixed.

I want to know if there are any light brackets that can attach to a rack eyelet on my fork-leg. Where can I get one from?
-
• #3347
The one halfway down the fork leg? Paul make one or there's a cheaper alternative on the SJS website
-
• #3348
make one yourself. there ws someone on here I think that made a very simple and nice one, but I don't remember how. maybe a star nut in a steerer tube cut off would work.

Cranks and stems seem to be the most common ugly factor in functional bikes, but yet the touring world shows that it is possible to both at low cost, and a high aesthetic value.
Gawd I really want a bike like this. Singlespeed, chunky CX tyres (or perhaps a skinny 29er with a semi-horizontal TT) with north road bars and an upright riding position. Looks like it'd be so much fun on gravel paths and easy singletrack.
