Are you saying that if these guys can get $100,000+ for such an odd thing, you should have no problem raising cash for a decent twin twenty cargo bike?
That's what I'm saying. -

I really don't understand this.
What's different about that to says, a Genesis Croix de Fer?

Has this been in? 650B custom painted Surly Disc Trucker:
looks like I've found my new frame...
Had to re-quote. An absolute stunner, that chainring looks small no?

they are brazed onto the top tube like triple triangle bikes, but without being welded to the seat tube. That makes the stays longer, thus providing more flex (vertically)

So in theory should be more comfortable.
Again still don't see the difference.
-
• #2884
^^ some bike designers would say that seat stays bow outwards (rather than upwards) so the curve makes little or no difference.
-
• #2885
one more reason to get disks, avoid having a bridge between the stays and let them spread out freely.

Tempted to stick my Boardman in here now, finally (after over a year!) got it working nicely.

• #2887
what have you done to improve things?
-
• #2888
Lot's of fettling really, and also admitting that I didn't have all the answers and handing it over to Sam at LMNH, who (amongst other things) spotted that at some point chain-suck had FUBAR'd the rear mech cable which I'd not noticed, but which was fucking the shifting, etc etc.
Put simply, it just works now.

Put simply, it just works **for **now.

middle ring of a triple so is probably a 38 if standard treking triple… good ratio for that bike… I switched from a 48/38/28 to 46/34/24 on my trucker, which seems perfect for me
I've now ordered a disc trucker frame… £337 from triton bikes… only £12 more than the long haul trucker frame I bought 4 years ago. Think its going to get a respray in something like this colour.

(not the brand)
Yes, a semi compact geometry, the bigger the frame, the less pronounced the slope;
