Climbing on risers is a mugs game. Nice around town, you can fit a bell and wave/peace/wanker signs at people etc but useless for energetic riding on-road.

is up for sale again at a mear £119 for frame only . HOWEVER they apparently no longer have mudguard/rack mounts and will only take a 23c (which i dont believe) and appear to have dropped the nice replaceable dropouts.

They say their CX frame will only fit 23c so yh i call BS on that. How ever now it's just a precursa with bottle mounts and rear cable guides? Bit of a cop out of you ask me. I probably woulda have considered one if they kept it the same

The Precursa can fit up to 32c tyres despite the recommendation of 23c, so it's safe to says that big tyres is doable (beside the photographic evidence).

Geometry is exactly the same as Precursa, shame really as I like to get something like that (75 degree seat tube mean bye bye Brooks saddle).

I like that the small one doesnt have a dwarf headtube

Dolan changed it again - they're now 2 version of the FXE, each with and without a fork.

£15 more expensive thought.

Love those Dolan FXE's. If I've got the money and when I get the time I'd love to build one up.

It would be great if the FXE have the same geometry as the Seta.

Every day I see pretty blue gitane in front of my work and it seems such a shame to be there in the rain all day. If you work in the building you are in front of, we have bike parking! (Sorry crap pic, phone lens scratched.)

That Dolan have a longer CX fork.

Mine came with sloping TT, but yes the fork is obvoiusly longer than the original.
