I like the idea of this set-up. I reckon, what Josh said, 115mm would be fine. A 116mm BB is not hard to find though.

Nice! What torque plate did you use for the Rohloff? How wide of a BB did you have to use with those DA cranks to get a 57mm chainline?
Nice touch with the Tern rack.

I'm using a 118 mm token bb. Before the Rohloff I was using an Alfine 8 with the chainring mounted inside of the crank and the chainline was spot on. For the Rohloff I just put the chainring outside, it's not quite 57, but I didn't experience any problems running a subpar chain line. I rather have a smaller q factor.
For the torque plate I'm running the pm monkey bone with 180 rotors front and back. The easiest and cheapest way, just don't pull the brakes completely, or you go over the bars.

amazing; if i ever buy this stupid bike it will get a rohloff
can i ask why single stay on rear guard?

Phwoar

only sensible choice is a Rohloff, everything else is just mockery for this high performance touring frame
I cut the stay just for the looks, don't like the double stay of the bluemels

While we're on functional tiny bikes, these turned up yesterday! Really hoping they play nice with the forks...

It's a nice bike, well at home here! The only thing that I'd change if it was mine would be matching bottle cages. Also, is the feather meant top be there or is it the remains of an un-lycky avian?
-
• #25898
no bird was harmed by me. just a feather on the trail somewhere kept as "souvenir".

Very nice - those frames are so versatile.
