Looks like an octalink xt crank and a superstar ring??
Any more info?

I'm actually appreciating the rim brakes, (assumed) square taper cranks and QR wheels.

Probably Middleburn cranks looking at the silhouette.

Do they re-use the same crankset for the gram or do they have a a lot of NOS?
-
• #25865
Most of the Fern bikes have a painted (or anodised?) Shimano Dura Ace FC-7402 crankset, with a 116 mm (probably Neco- cheap but very good) sealed bearing. JIS tapered.
Which gives the bike a 140mm Q factor and a 46mm chainline. -

I am not sure. Once in a while there will pop up a NOS piece on the market. But very rarely. So my guess is they use (lightly) used ones.

I've been thinking about doing this with a 7402 crankset and a 1x drivetrain. I can only find 115mm square taper BBs around, rather than 116 - do you reckon that'll give a good enough chainline?

10 speed campy work better with 8 speed shimano, a bit stiff to shift tho.
-
• #25869
As that's only 0.5mm difference each side, no problem.

my neutrino with a 7402
