Yep they're small blocks.
What do you mean is there a thread about the bike? It's an ex custom polo-bike that I've had some mods done too, that you can see from the burnt paint. I had some cable routing added, and a derailleur hanger.
It's an interesting frame made by DAMP in sweden. I've got a few more mods I want added, some rack mounts, and I might have the rear canti mounts put on the outside of the chainstays – they're on the inside to prevent damage whilst playing polo, but it's long been retired now.
But I'm just loving my Ogre so much that I haven't even built up the DAMP, it's sat in my shed.
Even the Ogre's in a bit of a state, single speed and front disc-brake only. But I'm loving it. It'll carry anything. I just need to get the big 2.5 nobblys on and get back out on some trails ASAP.

I just realize I have been running 35c marathon supremes. I always thought they were 32c
anyway, I bought a 40c to replace the rear worn tyre and its only 473g! pretty light for such a
wide robust tyre and 20g below spec. -

My god that Trek is awesome.

want some panniers for my new FBnpna (i hope) bike, that don't look like structured bin bags. arkels are nice but expensive. any alternatives out there that aren't made by vaude, ortlieb, carradice, are aesthetically pleasing and practical?

Karrimor/Carradice off the bay?
??

And nicer examples can often be found on there. I have some second-hand Carradice Kendals bought for a bargain off some kind fellow on here and they're ace.

I want to get a rack(basket in most bike shops) for the front of my hack bike, an L shaped one. I've been looking at the Wald ones on Tokyo Fixed but they need to be attached to mudguard eyelets which I don't have, It's a 2010 Langster steel. Can anyone recommend an adapter of sorts to attach it to the hub or one that can be attached to the hub without any modifications.

P-Clips onto the forks.

tuned out of this a while, so apologies if missed earlier, but anyone rocking a "carryout" front rack? as seen on Charlie the bikemonger email few weeks back.
if so, are they worth the 50 notes, compared against Ortleib bar bag etc?

The wald baskets have two different holes on the legs. One for eyelets and one to go straight on the axle. I'm going to be putting a wald in classifieds if you're interested PM me.

The Wald baskets can bolt on your axel with the front wheel, so just need some decent bolts on the front wheel and your sorted, i would suggest going for the smaller one, the medium is pretty big and looks a bit silly when empty.
Also i know of this front rack...

Rack could be levelled, but maybe it's a heel strike thing.

"Fixed Gear, Big Basket... Can't See, Won't See.... Premium Dawdle"
Small blocks, I love them. I have Michelin Country Rocks on my commuter-MTB. Just brilliant. And so cheap.
