Builder's own spec, so I guess he got what he wanted.
Not the worst I've seen, but certainly not pretty or clean.
Then again, this isn't the porn thread. -

The front rack is totally excessive for supporting that bag. Shouldve gone with a little one that mounted to the brake lugs. I can understand the lack of rear rack holes as not everyone likes to use them. But to have no mudguard eyelets on a utility sort of bike is silly.

The rack look as it can support panniers as well as a handlebar bag.
There's mudguard eyelit - the rear's hidden.

the stem makes me feel sick. It wouldnt be very functional to be vomiting into your panniers all the time.

2 girls 1 bike :O

I've tried to see it's inner beauty but failed. It look like shit.
-

Erm...
I quite like it.
-
• #2234
maybe you are starting to get tired of this kind of bike.... not me yet
-
• #2235
panniers dont look waterproof, too much weight on the front, wouldnt want to descend anything steep on that in the rain. at least it doesnt look like it's been dipped in poo though.
-
• #2236
You mad? You want the loaded weight low and forward descending.
-
• #2237
And it never rains in the UK anyway

Kinda awesome in a very 90's French lesson school book.

the frame is awesome but the cockpit is fugly - should make it brown like a suit case
-
• #2242
is that from the anti-splash-bar-tape website? Think it's the only one that the dude grudgingly liked.

I want the loaded weight low and evenly distributed. So lose the bag on the bars and get front panniers that match the rear.
wow, 5 day old dredge. I'm going to get myself a life now.

One for the tech nerds, Bradley Wiggins is training on a new bike ahead of the Olympics.
All bikes in the Olympics are subject to rules to keep manufacturers’ names and logos to a minimum but this bike has no labels at all. He normally rides a Pinarello but this is custom bike made for the British team.
Note the head tube that extends beyond the top tube
See the large stem and its strange shape
the frame has profiled tubing
the Zipp rims
If it’s visibly different, the position will be identical so Wiggins does not suffer any bio-mechanical differences after three weeks spent on the bike.

I'll take the green bottle if he splits

I've just put this together. Its gonna get mudguards and a rack(s). Steerer height etc are provisional while I sus out this sitting upright thing. I have noticed stuff I don't normally see on the steamroller and I dont have to keep pushing my sunglasses back up cos my face is looking where I'm going rather than at the front tyre. Bit of a shit photo I know. I'll post some more when its finished.

How do you find the Frogglegs?
Did you buy separate brake shoes (with cartridge pads) separately and do these allow toe-in?
Any brake judder?{ sorry for all the questions }
-
• #2249
They are a really nice product at that price, I particularly like the small allen screws on the triangle that pulls the brake, helps to keep it all central. They came with the pads like that. I haven't worked out how to get them to toe in yet. There's a bit of judder on the front, I'll have a fiddle this weekend.

Just converted my trucker to an upright position. Lower spec than yours, but it gets left unattended when I go shopping.

That has no rear rack lugs.and is the most fucking hideous thing i have ever seen
