Form over function with;
tyres
tape
chainset
super lightweight pedals
super lightweight bottle cages

Not a great choice IMHO of brakes, rims and skewers...

...and valve caps (which always screams 'never been ridden')

What's wrong with the tape (apart from the colour in conjunction with the rest?)

Leather tape might not be super functional in winter commuting

Because the Cross Check is awesome; Simple, versatile, comfortable AND tough!

Even the most haggered Functional bikes start out shiny, clean, and with valve caps.

I used a Problem Solver hanger from SJS cycles. Works well, had no problems so far, think it was £20 with postage.

My CdF on my mini tour. Would really like a rear rack which wasnt so tall to finish it off but I'm struggling to find one.
