I'd take it for fiddy!! It's not a total disaster, and I'd build it and use it. I was just misled and want to pay the value of what I received, not what was advertised. I've offered this as an option.

You could easily record any phone call with an app.

Also fucking lols at threatening to turn up on your doorstep, wtf does he think he will achieve? That you'll cave at the threat or that he'll saunter up, punch you on the nose and all will be settled? Maybe he things shouting at people helps resolve problems like this.
