  • Check out the cheek of this guy: http://www.lfgss.com/thread65019.html

Pretty sure he picked it up for about that half that. Un. Be. Liev. A. Ble!

    jokes.

  • I should clarify that Chegas and I have spoken already, he has apologize in general for the massive fuck-up,
explained his life was hectic atm, so since I was the one who came forward 1st I should also be the one doing this now.
As I explained Chegas, I did it for the sake of our classifieds section. Attitudes like that will only create barriers between us,
that so far we've managed to keep distant... it's all blind trust. Little room for "...i can't be arsed now...".
So there, Chegas AFAIC, you've made the right move so there.... whatevs. Keep it realz. ;)
    Maybe donate to the forum?

  • Hi

Sad to say that the user: The devils falcon is one of the bad traders.
I sent him some money via Paypal for some straps. The days has past and no straps (or emails has been answered) in sight.

    Head up.

shit I just paypald him some, is this really true, anyone else have this problem ?

  • ^ sounds like plenty others had good experience though? But that kid24 could do with an explanation at least

  • Just received an email from him. The straps should be on their way now.

  • .

  • ^sloppy^

  • He's probably 14.

  • I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but is there any chance of collating a list of bad traders(as in good traders thread) for easy reference (says he who has just received a frame with a dented top tube - when an undented one was promised - awaiting a response from seller before posting details)?

  • was that a joke or was your post merged into the BAD TRADERS thread?

  • ^^ A list? like the good traders thread?

  • mmmm... thought that was fairly clear - just a list of bad/rogue traders, just to make things easier to check before making a purchase/sending funds

  • Might be a good idea, but then again people might add names to the list before the problem is resolved ruining the seller's rep for something that's been fixed.

  • Perhaps first we should start with the list of people who'd like a list?

    1. oz.
    2. commie

fixed. I see it causing more trouble than being useful

  • I smell the acidic scent of kaos.

  • I've had good service from The devils falcon and so have others. Don't think he deserves to be immedietely labelled a bad trader.

  • So perhaps it's better to leave this thread as a place open for a discussion about trading and its problems than create blacklists and registers of offenders.

  • Am reading this for the first time. Gutted is the first word that springs to mind. What really f@#*s me off is that if you make a payment through PayPal, you can open a dispute, wouldn’t you do that if you paid for something and never got it? Or would you go on a forum and say, basically, that this person is a thief. Because that’s what you are implying. “Heads up”
Do you really think that there is much money in making and selling a set of straps for £12? What would be the point in ripping someone off on a forum like this, it would mean no more sales.
I am going by memory but I don’t recall a list of emails from kid24, and yet if you read the other comment you would get the impression I only did something about it because I was listed here. And that’s not the case. But I feel that I have been labelled as some sort of thief and it feels uncomfortable, worse than that. It doesn’t matter how many good things people say about you or a product, it’s the negative ones that people remember.

  • The Devils Falcon. Don't be disheartened, dude. I don't know what happened with that transaction with Kid24m but even if you did mess up, the fact it's sorted now shows you're a good trader. If it was just a misunderstanding then again, don't let it get to you just because of how 1 person acts on here.

  • Agreed - I think it's pretty clear from your sales threads that you have had a lot of happy customers and a perfectly decent way of dealing with people online and meeting in person. This thread isn't a blacklist, maybe there was a better way of dealing with it but what's done is done. Don't worry about it. Hope you keep making stuff and selling it here.

  • +1

anyone who has just a quick look around on your sale thread and elsewhere will see you're a good trader. There will always be a certain amount of neg, no matter what. Don't let this single occasion get you down.

Keep doing the straps and other stuff, if they're good (from what I gather, they are), people will notice, spread the word and send you more business

Stick to the positives, don't let the odd mishap take away something good from you

  • Thanks, and thanks to the guys that pm'd, helped a lot. Guess I was having a bad day, although I still don't like the idea that someone can pretty much say anything. If I had not stumbled upon the thread then I would of been in ignorance. I'm going to reopen the thread for the pedals and holsters, see how things go. And after all they are about giving some money to the site....and an excellent excuse for me to escape the workshop and cycle round the city for the day : ) Once again, thanks for the comments.
