I'm pretty sure 'refined' wasn't part of the brief. If I have a criticism, it's that they seem to have used factory manufactured screws, rather than hand made all wood joints.

At the front end you have a dual-crown fork with an integrated stem. What’s the thinking behind that?
It’s remarkable how much flex happens in a standard system where you have an axial load of a handlebar, attached to an axial load of a stem, attached to an axial load of a steerer tube, attached to an axial load of a wheel. Within that system you’re creating points of twist with all those axes.

The factor road frame in the pic appears to have 'track-like' fork rake - i.e. close to none... Does it go around corners?

The colouring is of no interest, and making helmets in a 3D printer is just plain stupid from an economic point of view. I was hoping for an interesting story about internal structure of the helmets, as 3D printing might be a way to generate a much better structure than EPS or other isotropic foams.

Got to see one of the few remaining running examples of these last time I visited NZ. A friend of my dad's owns one, was semi in bits being worked on in his garage. Fascinating to see and know that almost everything I was looking at was a one off

Not sniping about the mechanism. I like the concept of a cog operated bike despite it probably being energy inefficient. I looks crudely made is what I mean by ugly
