CMTL, she didn't bother with Oxbridge. Edinburgh, UCL and Bristol didn't want her - their loss. (I blame Plurabelle, quite unfairly, for the UCL decision. ;o) ). She chose Exeter over Kings as she decided after applying to UCL and Kings that she would prefer to study outside London. Still Exeter with Kings as a banker is not a bad position to be in.
Alexsi, I hope you are right but entrance this year is the worst on record. Loads more applicants and now fewer places and also people not going on gap years and all applying at once. She should get AAA based on her AS levels and coursework. Fingers firmly crossed.
+1.
Best of luck

Hi,
If results go well, will be joining King's this September.
This is definitely a cool idea - was hoping to keep up cycling as the years go by. -
• #31

-
• #32
medicine, you?
no idea where i'm staying, though -
• #33
good luck, when are the results out for these kinds of things? i still have 4 days to find out if i have epically failed/won.
Dude the results came out yesterday, partly why i'm pissed as i've probably missed the boat for the career line i was aiming for.
As a for the club, i was thinking we should start with a more social focus rather than racing until we come across/recruit a few regular racing members. Had a look at the official BUCS site and the competitions look pretty serious http://www.bucs.org.uk/sport.asp?section=921§ionTitle=Cycling. like full on one-piece teamkit serious. But as for running it, shouldn't be too hard, just organize a couple of rides a term, maybe get a Kings jersey going, join a CM ride once in a while for those inclined. You'll thank me when you graduate, starting a society is CV gold!

i do physics and philosophy.
matt what are you talk about.
The exam results are due to be published on MyKCL by Monday 12 July and
explanatory e-mails to be sent by Friday 16 July 2010. Please try and
be a little patient and there is no point asking me about your results,
the results do NOT come from this office, so I do not have any way to
speed up the process, you will just have to keep checking your mykCL
accounts. The results will appear when they appear soon on or After
Monday 12th July 2010. If you have any concerns after this date, then
I would advise that you make an appointment to see your tutor, or the
Chair of the examination board -

Sweet,
first question, where do you keep your bike?Mine's safely in my student house but all the halls have bike racks. I was in Great Dover Street first year and they were secrure there. Think the other halls have safe storage too but might be worth investing in a good lock anyway!

Yeah, I have decent locks (fahgettaboutit, evolution mini, abus chain) and it looks like Guy's Campus has a decent on-site bike shed, too.
I saw a Condor Potenza the day before my interview locked up to a lampost in front of the library, same as mine, so that was pretty cool.
I take it we're not allowed to keep them in our rooms? -
• #47
you're not, but my senior student was cool with it, and so were security, then got a new one who was a proper nob, just sneak it in.

No, but I'll pay the air fair if you bring it forward to your 25th
