I set up a separate thread, because i don't want to restart yet another society. I just wanted to see if anyone from around strand fancies a training ride on roughly my route without the hassle of trying to find the remains of a society

I would need to purchase a decent lightset first...
Have you joined the facebook group? Might be worth asking around there.

I work in the cycle industry, so give us a pm and I'll see what I can do, do you know anyone else that who'd be up for night rides?

anyone still at Kings? Im a postgrad, and there does seem to be a cycling club, so maybe that solves some of the issues raised?

I'm in my first year, I was quite interested in the "new" bike club but I don't think it's for me as after being excited about the first ride, I then managed to miss it and looking at the pictures it doesn't even look like there is anyone who rides fixed, track or single speed. I may be wrong but it seems the rides that are organised vary from CX, downhill, mountain and road.

I picked up my jersey and bibs from @goingroundandround today. The sizing guide clearly worked well. I still need to, erm, lose a little (just a very, very little) weight, but new riding kit is a pretty good incentive. :)
So anyone fancy this at all? KCL cycling club appears to be dead.
