...ridden to Bournemouth the Saturday after, and then did the London Classic on the Sunday. Either way, it was a good week.

Here comes the rain! For that reason, I'm out.

Sorry tom for abandoning you to the wind all on your own. I realised I hadn't factored in time for a shower before meeting friends, and that uphill drag into the wind finished off what was left of my energy.
Also, it didn't rain a drop all you fairies who skipped it.

Dropped out upon hearing thunder and seeing quite dark clouds looming. After a while realised it hadn't rained yet so took in some nice hills around Forest Hill and Crystal Palace. So not feeling as lazy as I should be for skipping HoP.
Also, had a lovely chat with Mrs Socks at Cadence Cycles, for those of you who haven't been yet, it's well worth a visit!

Echo Mick's comments re: cadence.
Odd one out there tonight. Hard work, wheel sucking Slevless tosser and headwind on the drag took the fun out of it, but it was over soon enough. -

Was that the clown on the yellow cervelo? He nearly cut me in half when I was trying to get back on your wheel...
Good fun that. 2.5 fast laps thanks to some strong riding from 6pt and CB followed by 5.5 solo laps. Managed 8 laps @ 20.8 which is comfortably my best HoP ever so pretty pleased - was looking over my shoulder a bit waiting for the train to steal a lap on me but thankfully didn't happen! Hope to get out there again soon.

Did a short hit from 8-8.45 but everyone had left by then I guess. Was pretty still and dry when I was out.

it was wet outside my house thus the above subjective statement is untrue. However I am a fairy.

He sounds like the chap who was drafting Michael last week - does he have TT bars/shifters fitted?

of course, how else would you know he was a slevless (apart from the ironman jersey that says Run, Bike, Swim, Draft like a little bitch)
ciq that would be stellar, should be swinging by at about 1820.
