For hill training or HoP?
Hill training not a chance, daft handlebars rule that out. For HoP? One day I will, one day.

I will be fixed on 85.9" however If every one else fixed is going to be on lower ratios I can flip flop to 75.8"
Meet at 1830hrs at the gate opposite York Bridge for a 1845 start.20mph+ average, but if you can't hold on there'll no doubt be other wheels to follow. Stop after 8 laps.
This is on public roads so please ride accordingly.
Running reds is frowned upon.
Signal your moves and stops.
You are responsible for your own wellbeing out there.
A heads up as to who is riding fixed and who is riding geared is also helpful, but this ride welcomes both.- upstart (fixed, 74")

Optimistic list, weather dependent. Not near a computer for a lot of tomorrow so not much list maintenance going on.

Right now my legs are way to stiff for this eve so I am heading out on a moderate 30 miler into essex which will either make or break my performance tonight.

I had to ride out west and then back to central this morning. barely broke 12mph. Not feeling great. Mick, still alright to dump a bag at look mum beforehand? can meet you there about 6:15?
somehow managed to take a chunk out of my garmin screen this morning, not best pleased. -

This week last year, I'd ridden to Bournemouth at the weekend, then ridden to Cambridge on 84" on the Wendesday, then rode back from Cambridge to Nunhead, swapped the fixed for gears and rode back in to town for HoP. It wasn't a slow HoP either :)

Or maybe I got that backwards. I might have ridden to Bournemouth the Saturday after, and then did the London Classic on the Sunday. Either way, it was a good week.

Well this week two years ago me and a mate in Spain took a pedalo and we went to Africa did HOP the same day.

Wait doesn't this mean they won't have worn in so you still won't be stopping? I was going to switch to new ones but thought better of it.

^^^I hadn't tried a pedalo for years, and when the moment arose I got excited that my new cycling super-legs would equal awesome fun. But I was too tall for it and was just cramped and uncomfortable, severely compromising my output :(
^^it started raining while I was wandering, rushed back to office instead of buying pads
^jolly good.
Hour of showers. Nice. Would love to make this at least a semi-regular habit this year, but dinner with my better half beckons this evening.
