**Wind, Rain and Pain.**Meet at 1830hrs at the gate opposite York Bridge for a 1845 start.
20mph+ average, but if you can't hold there'll no doubt be other wheels to follow. Stop after 8 laps.
This is on public roads so please ride accordingly.
Running reds is frowned upon.
Signal your moves and stops.
You are responsible for your own wellbeing out there.
A heads up as to who is riding fixed and who is riding geared is also helpful, but this ride welcomes both.- FixedCheese (48:15)
- XH - Geared & recovering from a very very very boozy late lunch/afternoon drinking session
- laner (fixxxxe)
6.pt (50x16) - HoKe (50:15) + Spoks!
- OSR (48:17) Spin to Win!
Out. Solo laps for me tomorrow instead.

Not even a shoddy excuse, the veracity of which we can then debate. Disappoint.
-
• #3180
We'll have to guess. I'm going to assume Xanders boozy date was with fade, and it went very well.
-
• #3181
Nope, not making an excuse this week, too pathetic, especially seeing as I actually made the effort to set up my bike properly last night.

Well looks like i'll be spinning away on my billy todd tonight! No biggie tho, good TT training having no one to draft.
Will probably do a quick 4 then go home/pub, depends how i feel but normally i get so bored after 10miles i want to poke my eye out with a biro.

Raintoday.co.uk is frightfully optimistic regarding the weather, no rain to spoil your fun.
Training tonight, but having read the site today it sounds like four dernys going round so should be entertaining... No idea what time it's all over, though. When it's dark, I guess. -
• #3191
hmm, planning to come to the park to get dizzy but it's pretty damn windy out there for my stupid wheels.

A few classics from the archives:
due to being weak of spirit, I'll be heading home instead of to the park.
I forgot to ride my bike to work this morning.
I forgot my motivation this morning.
I was thinking of taking this week off as a little rest before the Dunwich
Not really in the mood for it

The man does his research. Am I going to have to collect all the ones where you go on about sailing now?
I think it just says there some good ones and bad ones, be careful. I understand damo (formerly of this parish) had a shocker.
I'm interested that the first point of call after a GP would be to a chiro over any other health profession who deal with back pain.
