exhibit a:
What's wrong with this? And who cares about the position just look at the gear he is in. And it does not look like a downhill section.

Agree his gear is huge but we big guys will never look great on a bike. Esp in a TT.
-
• #3080
you big guys?! Think about US big guys!!! We look weirder

• #3081
I might come back for another whipping.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger and all that.
My legs were having none of it today though. -

I rode home at 14mph
-
• #3084
That's faster than your turns on the front; were you holding back?
-

Saving my legs for racing.
You're just a glorified domestique, I'm going for the yellow jumper!

As long as I get my healthy dose of pain I'm happy for someone else to get the glory. Not carrying your fucking bottles though.

You are right. All these guys are over 190cm and look shit. Especially in a TT...

Not to mention the 6'4 David Millar who, think what you like about, looks awesome on a bike:

Instead of the THOP this thursday I will be doing what I like to call the 10,000 mile ride. Which involves me doing laps of the park till I hit 10,000 miles on my odometer. At this point I stop, get off and drink beer and probably do no more cycling for the evening. The only relevance of this is that I have had the same computer and frame since buying it and all these miles have been done on the one frame. I am aiming to arrive at R Park on thursday eve with only 7 miles to go. I am meeting some none forum friends for this 'mammoth' occasion and obviously any one who wants is more than welcome to join me for this slightly obscure reason to drink beer. If the weather is bad/ too cold (as looks likely) I guess we will move to a pub.

Bonus points for doing the 7 miles at 30mph+.
-
• #3092
I guess it will increase the potency of the beer

If I tried, at some stage, not immediately, to shift this to Tuesdays... Would the world end in an angry fireball, would people keep doing it on Thursday without me, what? I've been thinking things through and worry that this year Thursdays are unsustainable for me :(
-
• #3094
I'd be up for that. Every other Tuesday of course!
-
• #3095
youre trying to tell us you have something else in your life other than thursday hour of power???
-
• #3096
Fine by me Tom, hopefully ill be out round the park more than once a week if i get my shit together.
-
• #3097
Can you move it to whenever is not pissing down with rain?

Tuesdays are all good in my book. HoP followed by beers? Win.
If I did TNRC I would appreciate the ability to alternate that and HoP.
I really should get on board with TNRC this year...

Anyway ill be doing laps tomorrow and on thursday. how dya like them apples?
Based on average cadence and speed, I was hovering around 84", but whacking it up and grinding out the downhill bit.
To the best of my knowledge the fixed lot were about the same.
