a "doubletap" will push it in the big ring, then a single tap will drop it back down. I've never had any chain rub so haven't bothered with the trim or anything.
Ah this make sense, as is what mine is doing at the moment, thanks.

Thanks. What speeds are predicted for this evening?
-
• #3007
Pushing the lever for the second click pushes the derailleur in the same direction. So right hand lever pushes it up the cassette and the left pushes it towards the big ring.

My plan for this hop is hold on to toms wheel for as long as possible, then average 21/22mph (probably a bit hopeful)
-
• #3009
^ isn't that the normal plan. Sit behind Tom for 1 lap until he drops everyone, then go at a normal speed. I can't go today btw, working.

Meet at 1830hrs at the gate opposite York Bridge for a 1845 start.
20mph+ average, but if you can't hold there'll no doubt be other wheels to follow. Stop after 8 laps.
This is on public roads so please ride accordingly.
Running reds is frowned upon.
Signal your moves and stops.
You are responsible for your own wellbeing out there.
A heads up as to who is riding fixed and who is riding geared is also helpful, but this ride welcomes both.- laner -fixewixie

I might map an appearance if i can get home, get some work done then swap my wheels out in time. The carbons are a bit wobbly and I've yet to get used to them.
-
• #3014
Hmm maybe I should come up fixed then. Was looking forward to giving the Look a blast.
-
• #3015
Do it, you know the look loves the sun!
-
• #3016
I'll be passing through so will keep an eye out for some forum types - I'll be on the black Ribble stealth
-
• #3017
6 pt come fixed the carbon will melt in this heat (disc and hed 3 will be ok as they are spinning)
-
• #3018
Nope, geared it is. There are many many weeks to go, and for many of them I will be fixed.
I was doing overgeared fixed hill reps last night and this time want something a bit more... variable. Plus it's time for the Look's monthly outing. If anything this means I won't hit it as hard, honest. -
• #3019
